Welcome to the sixth episode of the Washing Up Paper Plates Podcast.
Barry is flying south towards the medditeran coast and has passed through Dijon, Chalon-sur-Saône and Lyon. How is he faring? Why doesn’t Dijon embrace the mustard? Where can you pre-order your very own baguette bag?
Q: Why is it called Washing Up Paper Plates?
A: This entire bicycle touring trip is being done on a small budget. Many years ago I backpacked through Croatia on a similarly small budget and ended up washing up paper plates to use them the next day. This desperate, resourceful act encapsulates the philosophy of this trip perfectly.
